All the changes of ice within this small area attracted me. Thin clear ice in the middle, some of it with bubbles to the right, then larger ice near the top with crackles all through, then blended at the very top with crusty snow, and finally a very thin layer of delicate, fluffy snow to cap it all. And I liked the warmth of the brown colors at the bottom, contrasted with the cool blues and whites in the top. A picture that doesn't 'wow' you at first, but the beauty catches up with you.
