This is a Canada Goose, with its 'goose cooked', so to speak. Killed by natural causes or possibly an eagle, it has been picked clean (by an eagle or seagulls), and now is frozen, completely encased by a quarter-inch of ice. The sand is also frozen solid around it. I found the beauty of the symmetry fantastic, as it was spread-eagled and frozen in almost perfect symmetry. I have close-ups but they're a little too gory for this site... except the next pic.
